As a weight loss doctor I believe these medication when used correctly can be a great help for people who are obese.
These appetite suppressants have been used for years and have been proven safe and affective, unfortunately they have an association with Fenphen which was a horrible drug with many problems.
I use them in my practice on certain patients they must have an elevated BMI (above 30) and have a “normal” EKG and have no other risk factor including High blood pressure.
When I use them I see great results and a very good New England journal of Medicine article supports this when used with a medically supprivise cweight loss program.
In many cases trying to get people to lose weight without these drugs is like trying to get their blood pressure down with out medication. I always like to say to Doctors who don’t use these drugs that many anti inflammatory the prescribe very liberally have much greater risk associated then these medication.
Finally next month try whishing your monthly cycle away, it’s not possible is it. It’s the same with many overweight and obese patients they cant wish their weight away they need medical help.
Do not buy them on the internet.
Do not use them unless you had and EKG in the last year.
Use them only under a doctor supervision.
But if you think you need them your probanly do.

In the past I used sodas to fill me up. I didn’t like diet drinks so I used the sugary sodas. I didn’t realize how many pounds the sodas were packing on until my weight started climbing.
