It’s never too late to accomplish your goals, and with a new year right around the corner there is no perfect time to spring those new year resolutions into action. Whether you have goals or not, adding some new healthy habits to this upcoming year is of course, always a good one to consider. We’re going to give you 3 healthy tips/ suggestion that you can add to your New Year’s resolutions that are easy and attainable.

Tip #1: Plan
If you have a busy work schedule or live a fast-paced life, planning out your days have shown to reduce anxiety and create a good start to a healthy and organized lifestyle. Whether you’re someone who likes to write things down on paper or take advantage of their technology, utilizing your phones calendar or your monthly planner can help your days feel less chaotic and more productive. Even simply creating a simple To-Do list at the end of each day for the following day can you help ease your mind and as every task is checked off, give you a sense of relief and accomplishment. Giving yourself structure and sticking to it can help you maintain your habits and create a less stressful lifestyle because you are always aware of what to expect.

Tip #2:  Move More, Sit Less
Most of us are all guilty of saying the New Year is when we’re all going to start going to start heading to the gym, right? Convincing ourselves that this is a “new year and new me”, but as the year rolls on and the days become busier, we eventually forget about the New Year promise we made to ourselves. If the timing your schedule is not as open to a full gym session it is always important to incorporate even just a couple minutes of your day to your physical well-being. Whether you work from home or in an office including at least 30 minutes of exercise in your every day will benefit you later on in life. One unhealthy habit that many allow to fly over their heads is the types of drinks they are consuming. Fruity drinks may taste good, but they are incredibly unhealthy and loaded with sugars. Although rethinking what types of drinks to consume is not a typical New Year’s resolution, it is a very important element of your overall Health.
